Design goals, over and beyond the Thumper specification:
- Ambidextrous. Tough to do when it's a bullpup, but a bullpup it will be.
- "Glass rod" trigger. Even tougher to do in a bullpup.
- No alpha emitters. Tip of the hat to Feces Flinging Monkey.
When we were writing tech manuals for a living, we learned that smart firms (not my own, of course) wrote the manual first, as a vehicle to define the product before serious pen-to-paper design ("pen"? "paper"? yes, a long time ago) could begin. In that spirit, the operator manual is about half-way done and will be published first right here.
